Bon Vivant

/ˌbän vēˈvänt/

noun: one fond of good living or one who lives well

Sustainability is a topic that is important to some and meaningless to many, which is understandable. It’s been marketed to us as having to live a certain way. One who is a vegetarian and only buys organic food. Can fit a year of one's accumulated trash in a mason jar. And can hand make everything from beauty products to cleaning supplies. Though all of those qualities are great, it’s not realistic for everyone. Between individuals' financial standings, access to information and social environments, it can be time consuming, expensive and confusing at times when trying to navigate this way of living.

That being said, it’s important to keep in mind that being sustainable is not about perfection. It’s about being conscious of your actions and focusing on doing good to better yourself, the people around you, and the planet. I want this to be a safe space for people of all different backgrounds to come to for information, a helping hand and feel inspired to find the good in life.

Yours Truly,
